Journalists learned from the Shanxi Energy Administration that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Shanxi's cumulative coal production reached about 6.5 billion tons, with a cumulative net electricity output of over 740 billion kilowatt-hours, maintaining a leading position nationwide. More than 30% of the electricity is supplied to over 20 provinces, providing strong support for the national "sending electricity from the west to the east" strategy.
