Hong Kong unveils its first blueprint for the development of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

According to the Intelligence Financial APP, on December 18th, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government released the "Development Blueprint for Traditional Chinese Medicine", which includes five major directions: traditional Chinese medicine services, traditional Chinese medicine professions, development of traditional Chinese medicine, inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine culture, and promotion of traditional Chinese medicine worldwide, with a total of 20 actions planned. These actions include improving clinical services of traditional Chinese medicine, establishing clinical guidelines, promoting cooperation between traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine, and strengthening the role of traditional Chinese medicine in primary healthcare. In addition, the Hong Kong Department of Health will establish a Chinese Medicine Development Supervisory Committee, with the Director of Health of Hong Kong serving as the chairman to promote inter-departmental cooperation.
