Its business scope includes manufacturing of car parts and accessories, electric motor manufacturing, intelligent in-car equipment manufacturing, and production of road motor vehicles. Shareholder information shows that the company is jointly owned by FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Jielong Rejuvenation Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. According to media reports, in August of this year, China FAW, Volkswagen Group, and the Chengdu Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee signed a "Jetta Career Development Cooperation Agreement" in Chengdu, announcing the preparation for the establishment of a new Jetta brand company, jointly aiming to develop it into a leading company in the automotive industry in Sichuan Province.
