The National Development and Reform Commission released the "Focus on Expanding Effective Investment" report, emphasizing further promotion of the development of private investment. Efforts are being made to address the difficulties in the development of private investment from the perspectives of expanding market access, resolving bottlenecks, and strengthening protection, in order to promote the high-quality development of private investment. The long-term mechanism for the participation of private enterprises in major project construction will be improved, actively supporting the participation of private enterprises in key areas such as railways, nuclear power, hydropower, and other profitable projects. High-quality projects will be recommended to private capital in a rolling manner, while enhancing the elements and financing support for private investment projects. Encouragement and support will be provided for private enterprises to participate in the implementation of new mechanisms for government and social capital cooperation projects. Efforts will continue to expand the scope and scale of real estate investment trust funds in the infrastructure sector, supporting more qualified private investment projects to issue and list. Support will be increased for private investment projects meeting the requirements from the central budget, better leveraging the role of government investment funds in guiding and driving private investment.
