On December 16, the United States International Trade Commission voted to initiate a Section 337 investigation into certain semiconductor devices and their downstream computing products and components. The defendants named in the investigation include Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. of Santa Clara, California, Lenovo Information Products (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. of Guangdong, China, Lenovo Inc. of Morrisville, North Carolina, Lenovo Group Limited of Quarry Bay, Hong Kong SAR, and Super Micro Computer, Inc. of San Jose, California.
