Omdia: Global semiconductor industry revenue increased by 14.5% quarter-on-quarter in the third quarter, with the possibility of exceeding 800 billion US dollars for the whole year.

According to the latest research from Omdia, the semiconductor market is expected to reach a historic high in the third quarter of 2025, with industry revenue reaching $216.3 billion, a 14.5% increase over the previous quarter. Following a strong sequential growth of 8% in the second quarter of 2025, global semiconductor market revenue has surpassed the $200 billion mark for the first time in a single quarter. With this growth rate, the industry's full-year revenue for 2025 is expected to exceed $800 billion.
