California regulatory agency temporarily allows Tesla to continue selling cars in the state.
California regulators have allowed Tesla to continue selling cars in the state temporarily, as the electric car maker faces accusations of false advertising and exaggerating its autonomous driving capabilities. Steve Gordon, director of the Department of Motor Vehicles, told reporters that the department had accepted a judge's recommendation to suspend Tesla's manufacturing and sales licenses, but immediately suspended those licenses. The DMV stated that Administrative Law Judge Juliet Cox recommended that the sales suspension be limited to 30 days.
