According to reports, on December 16th, OpenAI announced that former UK Chancellor George Osborne has been appointed as the general manager, responsible for the "OpenAI for Countries" program, with the appointment set to take effect in January next year. The project aims to promote cooperation between the company and countries in the field of artificial intelligence infrastructure and applications, serving as an overseas extension of OpenAI's "Interstellar Gateway" data center plan. OpenAI stated that Osborne will be responsible for expanding the project and is expected to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos next month.
