The French National Assembly adopts the social security budget for 2026.

On December 16, local time, after two months of parliamentary debate, the French National Assembly finally passed the 2026 social security budget by a narrow margin. The text will now be submitted to the French Constitutional Council for review, and will then be published and come into effect.
