Aviation Industry Corporation of China Aerospace Systems (302132.SZ) plans to build an aerospace equipment assembly base to lay the foundation for research and production tasks such as the "Haolong" cargo spacecraft.

The China Aviation Industry Corporation (302132.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chengdu Aircraft Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Chengfei Company"), plans to implement the construction project of the aerospace equipment assembly base. The project will involve acquiring more than 200 acres of industrial land near the new airport (based on the officially listed area), and constructing aerospace equipment assembly factories. The estimated investment for land acquisition and new factory construction is approximately 422 million yuan. Through the project construction, the aerospace equipment assembly capacity will be established, laying a foundation for the high-quality completion of tasks such as the development and production of "Haolong" cargo spaceplanes, and serving the needs and key initiatives of Chengfei Company in serving national strategies, national defense construction, and high-quality development.
