China Telecom (00728) appointed Li Huiguang as an independent non-executive director.

The Zhixin Financial News App reported that China Telecom (00728) announced that the special shareholders' meeting has approved the appointment of Mr. Li Huiguang as an independent non-executive director of the company. Mr. Li Huiguang also serves as the chairman and member of the company's Board Remuneration Committee, as well as a member of the Audit Committee and Nomination Committee. The term of office will be from December 16, 2025, until the company's 2025 Annual General Meeting to be held in 2026.
