Netherlands International: It is unlikely that the Czech koruna will maintain its strong upward momentum in 2026.
Analysts from the Dutch International Group stated in a report that the outlook for the Czech Koruna in 2026 remains optimistic, but the pace of its appreciation will not be as strong as this year. These analysts stated that, given high core inflation and continued growth in service sector prices, the Czech National Bank is expected to keep interest rates unchanged on Thursday and in the near future. "However, next year, overall inflation rates lower than the target and core inflation rates potentially slowing down could open the door to rate cuts." These analysts noted that despite this, the Czech economy and current account provide support for the Koruna. The Dutch International Group predicts that the Euro will gradually decline from the current 24.333 Koruna to 24.00 Koruna.
