Brazil extends the deadline for the anti-dumping investigation on glass fiber products related to China.

On December 5, 2025, the Foreign Trade Secretary of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 96 of 2025, extending the deadline for the anti-dumping investigation on glass fiber originating from China and Egypt, with the completion deadline extended to eighteen months from the date of filing. On August 6, 2025, the Foreign Trade Secretary of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Announcement No. 60 of 2025, in response to the application submitted by the Brazilian domestic company Owens Corning Fiberglas A.S.Ltda on October 31, 2024, initiating an anti-dumping investigation on glass fiber originating from China and Egypt.
