Guangzhou: Building a metropolitan ecological advantage area to promote a practical example of Chinese modernization.

On the 15th, the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government released the "Outline of the Construction Plan for Beautiful Guangzhou". It proposed to create a metropolitan ecological advantage area to promote the practice of China's modernization. It aims to better coordinate ecological resources, extend industrial chains, reshape rural values, and promote high-quality development in the rural areas of Huanan Kunshan and Luofu Mountain County. This will lead the construction of a world-class rare hot spring health resort, a benchmark for modernization in Lingnan characteristic towns and villages, and a model of coordinated urban-rural regional development. By 2027, it aims to become a model of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature in modernized Guangdong; by 2035, it aims to become a world-class rare hot spring health resort with distinct Lingnan characteristics, high-end industrial concentration, and renowned brands at home and abroad, as well as a national tourist resort area.
