It will explore the resource endowment and unique features of rural areas, promote cluster development and differentiated development of rural areas, and build a group of Lingnan characteristic rural areas. It will comprehensively improve the living environment quality of villages and towns, and build modern and beautiful towns. Combining with the construction of beautiful villages at the municipal level, beautiful and livable villages designated by the province, and other projects, it will comprehensively improve the living environment in rural areas, enhance the health level of rural environment, concentrate efforts on accomplishing a batch of practical projects that are tangible to the people, promote the comprehensive improvement of village ecological environment quality, agricultural green and low-carbon development level, and overall improvement of rural residents' quality of life. It will tap into the potential of rural greening, promote greening based on local conditions, and expand green ecological spaces, promoting the construction of green and beautiful rural areas. With the elements of mountains, water, forests, fields, lakes, and seas as the foundation and beautiful countryside as the carrier, it will promote the linkage of rural resources in primary, secondary, and tertiary industries to form lines and belts, showcasing the "thousand miles of rural charm" in multiple dimensions. By 2027, the proportion of counties with completed beautiful countryside will reach 40%. By 2035, the basic construction of beautiful countryside will be completed.
