Beijing: In November, the city's consumer prices rose 0.6% year on year.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics released data showing that in November, the city's consumer price index (CPI) rose by 0.6% year-on-year, an increase of 0.5 percentage points from the previous month, and a decrease of 0.2% compared to the previous month. From January to November, the city's CPI fell by 0.3% year-on-year, the same as in the period from January to October. Among them, food prices fell by 2.4%, non-food prices rose by 0.1%, consumer goods prices fell by 0.5%, and service prices remained stable. The prices of the eight categories of goods and services that make up the CPI showed "four increases and four decreases." In November, the city's industrial producer prices fell by 1.3% year-on-year, a decrease of 0.1 percentage points from the previous month, and a decrease of 0.2% month-on-month; purchase prices fell by 1.7% year-on-year, a decrease of 0.3 percentage points from the previous month, and a decrease of 0.1% month-on-month. From January to November, the city's industrial producer prices fell by 1.7% year-on-year, and purchase prices also fell by 1.7%, with both declines being the same as in the period from January to October.
