Japanese small rocket "KAIROS" No. 3 will be launched on February 25th next year.

Japanese aerospace company SPACE ONE announced on December 15th local time that at 11:00 a.m. on February 25th next year, the company's small rocket "KAIROS" No. 3 will be launched from the commercial rocket launch site "Space Port Kii" in Minabe-cho, Wakayama Prefecture. The No. 1 rocket of "KAIROS" was launched in March 2024, but exploded approximately 5 seconds after launch due to errors in predicting the flight thrust. The No. 2 rocket launched in December of the same year experienced sensor malfunctions and lost balance, self-destructing. Although it reached a height of approximately 110 kilometers, it failed to deliver the satellite into orbit.
