Oracle's aggressive artificial intelligence spending plan has drawn attention as its bonds are looking for cracks in the artificial intelligence frenzy on Wall Street. Morgan Jutan credit analyst Erica Spear predicts that the pressure on the company's bonds will continue to exist next year. Last week, Oracle's stock price saw its biggest drop in nearly 11 months, and its credit risk index also hit a 16-year high. The company's financial report shows that revenue fell short of market expectations while it raised its annual capital expenditure target by $15 billion and doubled its future leasing commitments. Co-CEO Clay Magouyrk stated that the company is committed to maintaining its investment-grade debt rating, and the actual borrowing amount may be lower than the analysts' forecast of over $100 billion. Spear said, "The challenge for investors lies precisely here: management continues to finance investments almost entirely through debt. While this is not surprising, it remains frustrating in a situation where the investment timetable and ceiling are generally unclear."
