The trend of improving the quality of consumption has been sustained. The steady expansion of consumption in China is a natural result of per capita GDP exceeding $10,000, the upgrading of consumption structure, continued efforts to stimulate consumption policies and the release of consumption potential, as well as the widespread penetration of new technologies and new models, leading to the emergence of new consumption growth points. However, it is also necessary to recognize that there is room for improvement in residents' consumption capacity and confidence, and internal driving forces for consumption growth still need to be strengthened. In the next stage, it is necessary to continue to implement the special action plan to boost consumption, focus on stabilizing employment and increasing income, actively expand high-quality supply, vigorously optimize the consumption environment, continuously unleash consumption potential, and promote the sustained, stable and healthy development of the consumer market.
