The border checkpoint at the river mouth announced that as of 12:00 on December 12th, the number of inbound and outbound passengers at the Cac Peo border crossing between China and Vietnam this year has reached 6.014 million, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%. Since November 20th this year, the National Immigration Administration of China has implemented a new policy requiring foreign nationals to fill out their entry cards online. Since the implementation of the new policy, more than half of foreign passengers at the Cac Peo border crossing have filled out their entry cards online. The average clearance time for passengers has been reduced to less than 5 minutes.
