Recently, the owner of a clothing store in Guangzhou posted a video claiming that her store was defrauded by a customer named Liu from Yantai, Shandong. She said that Liu had placed orders using multiple accounts at her store over the past six months, intercepted high-value items, swapped them for low-value items, and then requested refunds for 225 orders. On December 12th, the journalist learned from the Guangzhou police that the case of the store owner, Ms. Shi, being defrauded had been filed for investigation by the Zengcheng District Public Security Bureau. On the afternoon of the 13th, the journalist contacted Ms. Shi, who told the Red Star News journalist that she found that the customer had made returns in a similar way for more than 225 orders. When traced back six months and even earlier, she discovered a total of 331 delivery orders, totaling more than 500 delivery orders, all of which were returns from this customer. The earliest order was found to have begun in September 2024.
