Spot silver rose over 6% this week.
On Friday's New York closing, spot silver fell by 2.47% to $61.98 per ounce, with a cumulative increase of 6.29% for the week. It remained steady on Monday and Tuesday before continuing to rise, reaching $64.6573 before the opening of the US stock market on Friday, and then significantly dropping. COMEX silver futures fell by 3.82% to $61.125 per ounce, with a weekly increase of 5.21%. COMEX copper futures fell by 2.57% to $5.36 per pound. Spot platinum rose by 2.77% to $1746.83 per ounce; spot palladium fell by 0.42% to $1496.01 per ounce.
