Xiao Ma Intelligent Mobility CEO Wang Haojun: Expected to break even before 2030

On December 11th, at the Pony.ai 2025 Media Communication Meeting, Pony.ai co-founder and CFO Wang Haojun announced that Pony.ai's Robotaxi fleet has grown from over 200 vehicles last year to nearly 1000 vehicles by the end of this year, and is expected to reach 3000 vehicles by the end of 2026. Regarding when profitability will be achieved, Wang Haojun stated that based on Pony.ai's operational status, they anticipate reaching a fleet size of 100,000 vehicles by 2030, and therefore expect to achieve breakeven before 2030. Regarding investment in Moore Thread, Wang Haojun mentioned that they participated in early investments in Moore Thread not for financial purposes, but more for strategic considerations.
