The Party Committee of the State Council's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission conveyed and studied the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference. The meeting emphasized that central enterprises should focus on "advancement", effectively cultivate and strengthen new momentum and advantages of new quality productivity, strengthen technological innovation, comprehensively promote each link from technological breakthroughs to results transformation, and consolidate the foundation of "advancement"; promote industrial upgrading, continuously strengthen strategic emerging industries, plan ahead for future industries, deeply promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and strengthen the carriers of "advancement"; focus on core responsibilities and core business, pinpoint the direction of "advancement", promote enterprises to play to their comparative advantages, follow industrial laws, follow a path of professionalization, differentiation, and high-end development, consciously resist "intrusive" competition, and achieve more development led by value creation.
