On the evening of December 12, the official WeChat account of the National Medical Products Administration released an announcement on the protection of Chinese herbal medicines. According to the "Regulations on the Protection of Chinese Herbal Medicine Varieties", the National Medical Products Administration approved the Ching-Ho Qingjie Oral Liquid of Yipin Hong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. as the first Chinese herbal medicine second-level protected variety. The protection period is seven years from the date of the announcement. Yipin Hong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yipin Hong.
