Enlightenment Environment announced that its controlling subsidiary Xingping Hongyuan has reached a settlement with Hunan Jinsha Road and Bridge on the dispute over the construction project of the supporting infrastructure for Xingping Ecological Wetland Comprehensive Project PPP project. The total construction cost of the project is confirmed to be 10.585 billion yuan, and Xingping Hongyuan is required to pay 440 million yuan for the project and interest. If the final audit amount by the construction unit is less than the confirmed cost, the difference will be shared by both parties. Xingping Hongyuan is the main debtor for payment, and Enlightenment Environment is responsible within the range of 90 million yuan. All parties will address the funding issue by applying for government debt conversion through the construction unit, and Hunan Jinsha Road and Bridge is required to cooperate with the audit work. After the agreement takes effect, all parties will no longer appeal. The financial impact of this settlement on the company is uncertain.
