Hon Hai announced that it will invest NT$15.9 billion to build its headquarters in Kaohsiung.

On December 12th, Foxconn Group signed a contract with the Kaohsiung City government on the Kaohsiung MRT Y15 land development project, announcing an investment of NT$15.9 billion to carry out a groundbreaking MRT joint development project. Foxconn will establish its flagship headquarters in southern Taiwan in Kaohsiung. The Kaohsiung Y15 joint development project is expected to start in 2027 and be completed in 2033, including two buildings, a technology research and development office building, as well as retail and residential mixed-use spaces.
