The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and two other departments have issued a notice on optimizing the import and export supervision measures for lithium thionyl chloride batteries. The scope applies to individual lithium thionyl chloride batteries or battery packs in which the filling content of the third class of controlled chemicals, thionyl chloride, does not exceed 1 kilogram.
