Shanxi issues yellow alert for snowstorm.

On December 12, 2025, at 8:24 am, the Shanxi Provincial Meteorological Observatory upgraded to issue a yellow alert for heavy snow. The warning area includes Shuozhou, Xinzhou, Lvliang, Taiyuan, Jinzhong, Linfen, Yuncheng, Changzhi, and Jincheng. It is expected that the snowfall in the warning area will exceed 6 millimeters in the next 12 hours. In some areas of western Xinzhou and Lvliang mountainous regions, the snowfall may exceed 10 millimeters. Relevant units and individuals are advised to take precautions.
