Today, a ATR42 aircraft belonging to Hokkaido Air System in Japan experienced an engine failure on one side while crossing through the clouds shortly after taking off from New Chitose Airport in Sapporo, and subsequently made an emergency landing at Hakodate Airport in Hokkaido.
