The Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China has issued a proposal on the formulation of the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of Jiangsu Province, in which it mentions nurturing and strengthening future industries. Exploring diverse technological routes, typical application scenarios, feasible business models, and market regulation rules, speeding up the growth of emerging future industries such as third-generation semiconductors, hydrogen energy, and bio-manufacturing, promoting a number of cutting-edge future industries such as quantum technology, brain-machine interfaces, embodied intelligence, deep-sea and deep-earth exploration, atomic-level manufacturing, and the sixth generation of mobile communication to become real productive forces. Innovating regulatory methods, developing venture capital, and establishing a sound mechanism for future industry investment growth and risk-sharing. Supporting eligible regions to compete for the establishment of national level pilot zones for future industries.
