The new models will be developed based on the Ampera platform and produced in the Ampera Electric Vehicle City. Ford will lead the design of the two new models, which will be developed in collaboration with Renault Group. In addition to the electric vehicle partnership, Renault Group also signed an intention letter with Ford regarding cooperation on light commercial vehicle models in Europe.
