Fujian Maritime Affairs conducts a special law enforcement and search and rescue drill in the central Taiwan Strait.

On December 6th, the Maritime Safety Administration of Fujian Province, together with the East China Sea Rescue Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, held the first emergency search and rescue drill in the shallow waters near Taiwan. Maritime and rescue vessels then carried out a special law enforcement operation in the central waters of the Taiwan Strait, inspecting the shallow waters near Taiwan, as well as the central area of the Taiwan Strait, the densely navigated areas, and areas with frequent accidents.
