The full line of the Ningde to Gutian Expressway in Fujian Province has been opened to traffic.
At 12 o'clock on the 6th, the Ningde to Gutian expressway was fully opened, effectively promoting the coordinated development of mountain and sea in Ningde City, Fujian Province. The Ninggu Expressway is an important part of the G7021 Ningde to Wuhan National Highway, and is also a key construction project determined by the comprehensive transportation development plan of Fujian Province's "14th Five-Year Plan". The project starts from Liudu Village, Qidu Town, Jiaocheng District, and ends at Jixiang Township, Gutian County, with a total length of 69.94 kilometers, a design speed of 100 kilometers/hour, and 7 interchanges and 2 service areas along the entire route. After the full opening of the expressway, the driving time from Ningde City to Gutian County is shortened by about 1 hour, making it a convenient and fast passage from Ningde City to Gutian County, Pingnan County, and other areas. It will become a key transportation artery closely connecting Ningde with Gutian, greatly reducing the "time-space distance" between the two areas, and facilitating the cross-regional linkage of automobile, new energy, and other industries in the region, as well as the development and expansion of advantageous characteristic industries such as edible fungi in Gutian County and regional aquaculture in Sandu'ao.
