According to the Securities and Economics APP, on December 6th, the State Internet Information Office publicly sought opinions on the "Measures for Risk Assessment of Network Data Security (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)". The "Draft for Soliciting Opinions" mentions that network data processors handling important data (hereinafter referred to as important data processors) should conduct a risk assessment of their network data processing activities annually. If there is a major change in the security status of important data that may have a detrimental impact on data security, a risk assessment should be conducted in a timely manner on the changed parts and their impact.
