Australia issues emergency warning for two bushfires in New South Wales
On the afternoon of the 6th, the Rural Fire Service of New South Wales, Australia issued emergency warnings for bushfires in the northeast and northwest of the state. The Rural Fire Service of New South Wales stated that it is now too late for residents in the affected areas to evacuate and they should immediately seek shelter. According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, at least 6 buildings have been damaged by the bushfires in the northeast of New South Wales, local train services have been interrupted, and there have been power outages in the area. The bushfires in the northwest have been burning for several days in the Goulburn River National Park.
