Short-term UK government bond yields rose more than 3 basis points this week

This week, the yield on UK 10-year government bonds rose by a cumulative 3.6 basis points, closing at 4.476% at the end of the European session on Friday, showing a U-shaped trend overall. The yield on 2-year UK bonds rose by 3.6 basis points to 3.381%. The yield on 30-year UK bonds increased by 0.4 basis points, while the yield on 50-year UK bonds fell by 1.5 basis points. The 2/10-year UK bond yield spread remained roughly unchanged at +69.422 basis points.
