The Israeli government approved the national budget for 2026.

On December 5th local time, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office issued a statement stating that the government has now approved the 2026 national budget. It is reported that before the budget was passed, after intense negotiations between the Israeli Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Finance, an agreement was reached to set the 2026 Israeli defense budget at 112 billion new shekels.
