The Bank of China announced that it has received approval from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission for the appointment of Liu Chenggang as the Secretary of the Board of Directors. Starting from December 3, 2025, Liu Chenggang will concurrently serve as the Secretary of the Board of Directors and Corporate Secretary of the Bank of China. Liu Chenggang, born in 1972, joined the Bank of China in 1994. Since October 2025, he has been serving as the Vice President of Bank of China and concurrently as the President of the Bank of China Shanghai Renminbi Trading Business Headquarters. Starting from December 2025, he will also serve as the Secretary of the Board of Directors and Corporate Secretary of the Bank of China. Earlier, on October 28, the Bank of China announced that it had received the resignation of Zhuo Chengwen. Due to work changes, Zhuo Chengwen would no longer serve as the Secretary of the Board of Directors and Corporate Secretary of the Bank of China starting from October 30. On the same day, China Aircraft Leasing Company announced that Zhuo Chengwen had been appointed as an Executive Director and Chairman, among other positions.
