Japanese rice prices continue to rise, setting a new record again.

Reporters learned on December 5th that the average sales price of rice in Japan announced in the afternoon once again hit a new historical record. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, the average price of rice sold in approximately 1000 supermarkets across Japan for the week ending November 30th was 4,335 yen for every 5 kilograms.
