HKMA: Official foreign exchange reserves amounted to US$429.4 billion at the end of November.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority announced on December 5th that Hong Kong's official foreign exchange reserves at the end of November 2025 amounted to $429.4 billion. There were no outstanding forward foreign exchange contracts at the end of November and October 2025. The total amount of foreign exchange reserves of $429.4 billion is equivalent to more than 5 times the circulating currency in Hong Kong, or approximately 38% of the Hong Kong dollar money supply M3.
