A cargo ship ran aground in the waters of Fujian, and the 12 crew members on board have been safely transferred to shore.

Fuzhou Maritime Bureau reported on December 5th: At 18:40 on December 3rd, Fuzhou Maritime Search and Rescue Center received a report that a bulk carrier, the "Hua De 858", ran aground in the waters near the North Riyao of Xinghua Bay, Fujian Province while passing through the Taiwan Strait. Fuzhou Maritime Bureau coordinated relevant forces for emergency disposal in the waters of the incident and organized traffic at the scene. All 12 crew members on board have been safely evacuated to shore. Currently, the cause of the accident is under investigation. Fuzhou Maritime Bureau reminds passing ships near the North Riyao of Xinghua Bay waters to enhance lookout duty, maintain a safe distance, and pass through the area in an orderly manner.
