Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) subsidiary Wanzi Times failed to resume production as scheduled on December 5th.

On the morning of December 5th at 9:30 am, reporters arrived at WanZai Era New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. located in Yichun, Jiangxi. The company staff stated that the ignition restart ceremony planned for December 5th had not yet taken place. WanZai Era is a subsidiary of Ningde Era, primarily engaged in the production and sale of lithium carbonate. The main raw materials come from Yichun Era New Energy Mining Company. The aforementioned staff mentioned that without the ignition at WanZai Era, Era Mining's Jingxiaowo lithium mine has also not resumed operations.
