On the 4th local time, the Colombian Civil Aviation Authority held talks with three Venezuelan airlines on expanding air traffic between the two countries. The Colombian Civil Aviation Authority stated that it will work with the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to develop an agreement to expand the range of flights between Colombia and Venezuela, increasing the number of flights by Venezuelan airlines. This will enhance connectivity and provide more choices for passengers. Due to a security alert issued by the United States, several airlines had previously announced the suspension of operations to Venezuela. On the 3rd and 4th, Panamanian Airlines, Colombian Viva Air and Satena Airlines, and Bolivian Airlines successively announced the suspension of flights to Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, due to navigation signal interference. Currently, international airlines' operations to and from Venezuela have been mostly suspended. Some airlines have stated that they will decide on the resumption of flights around the 10th based on the situation.
