According to China Trade News, the China-US Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and the 4th Lianbo Expo Promotion Conference were held in Washington on December 4th. Ren Hongbin, Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, led a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to attend the forum and delivered a speech. Ren Hongbin stated that President Xi Jinping and President Trump successfully met in Busan, South Korea, recalibrating the direction of China-US relations and reaching important consensus on promoting practical economic and trade cooperation. The essence of China-US economic and trade relations is mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, and after years of development, the economies of the two countries have become deeply intertwined. Looking to the future, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will continue to build a high-quality trade and investment promotion platform, support deepening practical cooperation between the Chinese and American business communities. American business representatives at the event expressed optimism about the huge market potential in China and stated that they will strengthen supply chain cooperation with Chinese companies in the future. They called for both sides to continue to create an open, stable, and predictable business environment, to create more cooperation opportunities for the business communities of both countries, and to jointly promote the construction of a safe, efficient, and resilient global supply chain system. During the event, the China Exhibition Group gave a special presentation on the 4th Lianbo Expo.
