The Nanping High-speed Railway is fully operational.

This morning, the Chongzuo to Pingxiang section of the Nanning to Pingxiang high-speed railway was completed and opened to traffic, marking the full operation of the Nanping high-speed railway and forming a fast passenger transportation channel connecting Nanning directly to the Sino-Vietnamese border port city. During the initial operation period, there will be 4 pairs of EMU trains running daily. Nanning to Pingxiang can be reached in just 75 minutes, with a designed speed of 250 kilometers per hour. This is more than 2 hours faster than the current conventional trains.
