Babis will be reappointed as the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic on the 9th.

The Czech Presidential Palace announced on the 4th that former Prime Minister and leader of the "ANO" party Andrej Babi will be officially appointed as Prime Minister on December 9. Babi had earlier announced that he no longer holds shares in his founded Agrofert Group. Babi stated in a social media post on the 4th that he has decided to "irreversibly" transfer his shares in the Agrofert Group to a trust management in order to meet the precondition set by the President for his appointment as Prime Minister and to comply with relevant legal requirements. The Czech Presidential Palace subsequently welcomed this decision and announced that Babi will be officially appointed as Prime Minister on December 9.
