Xiaomi's foldable phone will be released next year at one third of the price.

According to XiaomiTime, a new Xiaomi model with the code number 2608BPX34C has recently appeared in the GSMA database. The industry widely speculates that this model is the Xiaomi MIX series' tri-fold phone - MIX Trifold. Currently, only Huawei and Samsung have released tri-fold screen phones globally, and Xiaomi is likely to become the third mass-produced manufacturer. According to the patent images, the MIX Trifold will adopt a Z-shaped folding solution similar to the Huawei Mate XT series, allowing for three different usage modes - single screen, dual screen, and tri-screen. According to leaks, the Xiaomi MIX Trifold tri-fold phone is expected to be released in the third quarter of 2026, competing with Huawei and Samsung.
