The U.S. Government Accountability Office is investigating "critics of the Federal Reserve" Pulte.

The U.S. Government Accountability Office confirmed on Thursday that they have launched an investigation into the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, Bill Pulte, who has faced criticism for his attacks on opponents of President Trump. A spokesperson for the agency stated: "I can confirm that the GAO has accepted the investigation request in accordance with standard procedures. It may take several months to determine the full scope of the investigation and the timeline for completion." It has been reported that Pulte is also involved in a grand jury investigation related to multiple mortgage fraud cases this year.
