From November 22nd to 28th, Deputy Commissioner of the General Administration of Customs Wang Jun led a delegation to visit the counterpart departments and relevant international organizations in Kenya and Ethiopia. During the visit, Wang Jun met with the heads of customs and inspection and quarantine departments in Kenya and Ethiopia to discuss topics such as smart customs, capacity building, mutual recognition of "certified operators", and the export of agricultural products to China, and signed two cooperation documents with the foreign parties. He also met with representatives from the United Nations Environment Programme, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization's Kenya office, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization's regional office in Ethiopia to exchange views on combating illegal trade in endangered wildlife and solid waste, maintaining food security, and discussing trilateral mechanized cooperation on the "Livestock Value Chain Enhancement Project" in Ethiopia.
